Well, hello, weekend. Here we are again, just when we needed you most. Even if you’re a bit damp and chilly, we’re still happy you’re here. Hopefully you all find a way to enjoy the neighborhood despite the wet and chill.
Here are your weekend tidbits…
– Apparently Foster-Powell is set to be the hottest Portland neighborhood in 2016. Or at least that’s what the folks at Redfin think. By their estimation, as reported by the Oregonian, the number of page views, favorites and other data on their site, Foster-Powell will join Creston-Kenilworth and Sunnyside as the most popular neighborhoods in 2016. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. But definitely worth mentioning.
– Also from the Oregonian….some N.W.I.P.A. love. Peep it: Great things are happening at N.W.I.P.A. next month.
– RIP Walt Anderson Barber & Style, or affectionately known as Walt’s. The long-time, old-school barber shop across the street from Laurelwood Park has closed, soon to make room for Ginger Salon. We wish Walt all the best in whatever he’s on to next.
