Foster Window Project Needs Property Owners

Do you know a property owner on Foster whose window-front is a little less than inviting? Or better yet, a property owner who is currently letting their space sit vacant, idle, or under-used?

This is for that person.

Living legends, Vicki and John Wilson (from the FoPo Community Garden fame), are now tackling Foster itself. More specifically, they’re tackling the perception of blight and the glut of under-used, unattractive, and/or vacant properties along the corridor. We’ll have more on this later, but the short story is this: with the help of the community, they’d like to liven up a few of Foster’s storefronts. If you know of a building—and its owner—let them know. If you want to lend a hand and get involved, let them know. If you think they’re overall rad folks, let them know that, too.

I am an artist & art therapist & a local resident & would love to help design something for such windows. How might I be involved?
