From the organizers of the Wikman-Arleta Building project…..

On March 18, from 11am-1pm, we invite YOU, the neighbors of Foster Road, to participate in a visioning session for the Wikman-Arleta Building Project.

The Wikman-Arleta building project has the potential to transform our neighborhood.

Imagine what you’d love to see here in the neighborhood that can be housed at the Wikman-Arleta building!

Thank you for offering this opportunity for visioning! As a FoPo resident I find this exciting and hopefully catalytic for new Foster Rd. investments. I do request that you offer another visioning session that is not during the middle of the day and is during the evening for those several of us who work “regular” daytime jobs. Thanks.

  2. Kath Kelly says:

Please disregard the part of my earlier comment about timing of the session – I just realized the 18th is a Sunday. Sorry about that!

  3. Hey, Kath. Thanks for your comments. We certainly share in your hope for a catalyst-type impact. It’ll be fun to see what becomes of this. If you haven’t already, you should get on the email list for the Wikman-Arleta project. You can also email them directly with any suggestions…as they’re definitely seeking community input.

  4. Carl Wikman says:

The building is named in honor of my mother Lea Wikman, she was an immigrant from war torn Finland and came to the USA vie New York. If there is anything that I can do to help, do n ot hesitate to contact me,
    Carl Wikman

    Hi!
Wow! I am so thrilled to read about your amazing progress!
    Congratulations!
I had to close my former gmail because I was being inundated with all kinds of unique postings. Enough said.
Will the “Prayer Vigil” @ Wikman-Arleta Building be on May 1st?
I would be honored to be with you, if you’ll have me.
I look forward to hearing from you @ your convenience!
    Sincerely, Patty
