Neighborhood groups within the Southeast Uplift coalition area are eligible to apply for grants up to $3,500 in this year’s round of Neighborhood Small Grants. With a total of $21,603 to divvy out to community-building projects, SEUL is encouraging neighborhood groups to identify projects that can help draw more people, especially those from underrepresented populations, in to area events and various involvement. Past examples include community gardens, neighborhood barbeques, street banners, and neighborhood association packets that are translated into multiple languages.
If you are interested, SEUL is hosting two community grant workshops. This will be a good opportunity to learn more about the grant criteria and how to submit your application. For more information, check out this Foster United article.
