Thanks in part to the Foster-Powell and Mt. Scott-Arleta Neighborhood Associations and their respective transportations chairs, as well as the drive and commitment among neighborhood residents to see Foster Road safer and more livable, a community-led meeting will be held tomorrow night to discuss the future of our busy thoroughfare.
From 6:30- 8:00 p.m. this Wednesday, join your neighbors at Mt. Scott Community Center to engage with each other, your neighborhood associations, and representatives from the Willamette Pedestrian Coalition, ODOT, and the Bicycle Transportation Alliance in an effort to draw out ideas and a vision for a better Foster Road. This is an ongoing effort to inform and engage the community about safety and livability issues, as well as to discuss the future refresh of the Foster Road Transportation and Streetscape Plan. Bring your ideas, questions, and your neighbors. Please see the adjoining agenda for more information.
