Meet Your Neighbors: Paul Eymann

Paul Eymann

Allstate Insurance. We’re everywhere!

Who are you?
If you know me, you know me

What do you do?
Claims adjuster settling toilet overflows, trees on roofs, candle wax on carpets, the usual sexy insurance stuff.

What is your inspiration? (Why do you do what you do?)
It is one of those positions where I really can help people reduce the stress with their immediate emergency, and help them understand how homeowners insurance works. We all need it, we all have it, and we should all have a basic understanding of how it works.

What brought you and/or your business to the Foster-Powell Community?
It is a “close-in” and centrally located area that I could afford. I fell in love with the house, and was soon suprised at the benefits of great neighbors and businesses, and close proximity to airport, downtown, freeways.

What is your favorite way to enjoy Foster?
Buzzing up and down Foster. The growth in our area has been steady, but slow. I am thankful for that because I spend little time frustrated in traffic while on Foster. We are able to retain the benefits of a tight neighborhood, complete with dog walking and sidewalk traffic, yet close to the “build up” of Division and Hawthorne. We get the benefits of closeness to their faster growth, yet retain our older world, bungalo style of living.

3 Ways to unite the Fine Folks of Foster
1.) Get out and walk and talk.
2.) Know your neighbors. Meet their friends and family.
3.) Remind yourself to be tolerant of the irritations from others and look at your own ways. Ask yourself: How can I be a better Foster neighbor?

How do you envision the future of Foster?
I think it will retain a working class feel. I hope it does. Businesses will remain. Infrastructure will remain sound. Houses will continue to be updated and rehabilitaed as young people continue to be drawn to our area. This is what I have seen happen since I moved here 15 years ago.
