As part of our First Saturdays Program, join Jim Labbe from the Portland Audubon Society, and Matt Clark and Teresa Huntsinger from the Johnson Creek Watershed Council for a 21-mile bike ride out the Springwater Corridor Trail to Gresham’s Linneman Station and back. We’ll pedal our way through the lower Johnson Creek Watershed, stop at several urban natural areas along the way, and learn about future opportunities to protect and enhance the Johnson Creek Watershed. You are responsible for bringing and maintaining your own bicycle; pumps and patch kits recommended. Helmets are absolutely required.
This trip is FREE! No registration required; simply show up ready to ride.
Directions: Meet and be ready to ride at 9 am at Sellwood Park on the south end of Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. Meet at the trail head for the Springwater Trail on the Willamette trail at the south end of Sellwood Park at the intersection of SE Spokane Street and SE Oaks Park Way.
