Word on the street is that the Mt. Scott-Arleta neighborhood association is arranging for a new mural on 72nd between Harold and Reedway streets.

But even Google doesn’t have the zooming capabilities to show what my trusty ol’ fashioned digital camera can… a space fraught with potential. This shot is just a guess– I actually don’t know exactly where the mural will be. Anyone from Mt. Scott know? (The Mt. Scott Neighborhood Association isn’t nearly as digitally present as Foster-Powell or Lents.)
Were I to design the mural, it would include frosty glow-in-the-dark swirls and a chalkboard area for public musings.
Yes, The Mural will be in that very area. The discussed it at the last Community Meeting. They are having various fundraisers to fund the project. The Mt. Scott Teen Volunteer Corps are presenting a charity dodgeball tournament this Saturday (Dec 20th) at Mt. Scott Community Center -yes inside.Course # 282145. The Contact there ( at the center) is Molly and it will be a all day event. 10-5pmMt. Scott Nutrition Central will be there providing Hydration with our h3o fitness drink and all proceds of sale(s) goes to the project. We will also be handing out Free Trial Visit coupons to our Club -Come join us- it should be fun!!
